About NRNA Spain
The growing number of Nepalese people expatriates abroad and the increasing importance of remittance as a source of government revenue at home brought the concept of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) to its fore. NRNA was established with the purpose of uniting and binding the Nepali Diaspora under one umbrella on 11 October, 2003. In the course of completing 15 years of its existence NRNA has developed into a non-governmental global organization and a network of Nepali origin by establishing National Coordination Council (NCC) in 81 countries to represent its interests, concerns and commitments.
Meanwhile, the people who live in different nations feel the importance of NRNA NCC and exercises to develop the organizations all over the world. Accordingly, NRNA living in different parts of Spain felt necessary to unite and work collaboratively being affiliated to NRNA. Meantime, social activists, Mr. Dik Bahadur Karki and his team took initiation and played an admirable role in establishment of NRNA NCC Spain for nations and Nepalese community living in Spain. Finally, they were able to establish NRNA Spain on 20 October 2005. In this organized body following social activists were involved;

NRNA-NCC Spain was structurally formed on April 13, 2007 on the chair of Ganeshman Talchabhodel. NRNA Spain aims to unite all Non-Resident Nepali (NRNs) and Nepalese organizations throughout Spain under one umbrella organization to form a unified and institutional movement to achieve the mutual benefit between all NRNS and people of Nepalese origin in Spain. Likewise, to be inclusive in this multicultural Spain by promoting Nepalese culture, embracing others cultures and respecting the values and law of Spain. In addition to this NRNA Spain also works for the interest of second generation people of Nepalese origin and beyond. The main goal of NRNA Spain is to be inclusive in this Multicultural Spain by promoting Nepalese culture, language, food and at the same time embracing other cultures and respecting the value and law of Spain. Moreover, NRNA Spain also facilitates to keep the Nepalese language, culture and food alive in second generation Nepali origin and beyond.

Objectives
-To promote and protect the rights and interest of Nepali residing outside Nepal.
-To establish a global network and a common platform for Nepalese Diaspora.
-To promote tourism of Nepal and preserve Nepali culture, language and heritage in Spain.
-To promote and protect the rights and interest of people of Nepali origin residing in Spain.
-To attract and facilitate NRNs investment including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) for economic and social development of Nepal.
-To contribute to the overall development of Nepal by utilizing talents, knowledge, skills, capital and other resources of people of Nepali origin and Nepalese community living in Spain.
-To promote reconciliation, mutual respect and tolerance between groups of individuals that are in Spain.
-To bring together different Nepalese associations in different States or Territories together for common goal of utilizing resources, capital and skills for the interest of people of Nepali origin.
-To mobilize the knowledge, skills, capital and other resources within the disposal of NRNs for the socio economic development of Nepal.
-To promote and support fair and equitable rights of Nepali migrant workers.
-To promote and engage in sustainable social impact activities for the best interest of the greater communities in Nepal.
-To develop connectivity and network of youth diasporas.
-To identify and promote investments in Nepal those are the national interests and social benefits.
-To promote and mobilize investments in Nepal.
-To promote Nepal internationally through NRNA networks.
-To promote NRNs and foreign investment for sustainable tourism developments.
